Since 2012 FM Systems has provided production services for the Calgary Stampede Concert series. Acts such as Garth Brooks, Stevie Wonder, Brad Paisle, Shania and Tim McGraw have relied on FM for flawless audio.

Once again, when the CCMA Awards came to town and required Audio and Backline support for venues and artists all across Calgary they came to FM Systems right away. It didn’t stop at providing for the nationally televised awards show, but included Song writer performances at the Jack Singer Concert Hall, Gala and Brunch as well as 30+ artists over 3 days at the Fan Village Stage!

FM works with many corporations by providing technical services for their gatherings, AGMs, and holiday celebrations.

FM has a long standing relationship with the Calgary Flames. Since 2000, FM has been the in-house audio provider for all Flames, Hitmen, and Roughnecks games.

When the former President or First Lady of the United States speaks, people listen. Every seat in the arena must have precise, crystal clear sound with no exceptions. FM Systems rose to the challenge for both the Obamas, deploying sound systems across the country that were designed by our senior engineers to be capable of meeting such high sonic demands.

Not our first rodeo! All over Western Canada, cowboys and cowgirls have heard their names called over an FM Systems PA. After a hard days ride, entertainment from Big and Rich to LeAnne Rimes has entertained all in attendance at the Ponoka Stampede year after year!

FM Systems has spent decades on the cutting edge of live audio, continuously pushing the boundaries of what is possible. When the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra wanted to place their entire audience on the conductor’s stand, we knew that a fully immersive audio experience was called for. Partnering with the applications engineers from L-Acoustics, FM Systems broughtthe first L-ISA immersive audio system with a live symphony orchestra to Canada! The result was a reinforced sound that so closely represented the acoustics of the orchestra, that it transformed Hawrelak Park into amagnificent concert hall.

At the intersection of corporate audio and music festivals is where FM Systems truly shines. With an extra emphasis on precise audio coverage of VIP areas coupled with sound mitigation for the surrounding communities, turning Shaw Millennium Park into one of the largest concert venues of the summer was quick work. Supporting artists such as Bryan Adams, Train , Duran Duran, and countless others, FM Systems was there every step of the way.

In 2019 the largest hard rock and metal festival ever to hit Alberta came to Edmonton and they knew there was only one phone call to make for Audio and Backline services. FM Systems provided a thunderous main stage sound system, as well as all artist Backline. The equipment list included the latest technology from L-Acoustics, Avid and Shure. Backed up by a top-notch systems and stage crew, the inaugural event was a huge success!

Giving back to the community we live and work in has always been a core value at FM Systems. The Calgary Urban Project Society has engaged FM’s expertise for over a decade to ensure that their jubilee fundraising event not only goes off without a hitch, but enthralled donors and sponsors with exciting new technology and design.
