Winnipeg, MB – Forty-year entertainment industry veteran Tracey Ploss has joined the FM Systems team. From his home base of Winnipeg, MB, Tracey will be focused on bringing FM’s brand of quality-driven production service to clients across Canada and beyond.
In his extensive industry experience, Tracey has served many roles, including touring crew chief, Vari-Lite technician and programmer, production manager and lighting designer. In his later career, he has been primarily an Account Manager and Vice-President of Rentals, dealing with some of the largest tours and events in the world, including three Olympic Games.
A highly motivated and customer-oriented professional, Tracey brings an enormous breadth of experience to his new role at FM Systems. “I love my job and my clients,” Ploss notes, “I’m not just one of those Account Managers that says he’s done a show. I was probably there with you and will still be there with you!”
Lisa Ploss will also be joining FM in a Business Development role, bringing her wide-ranging experience to the company. With a background in Off-Broadway and Tour Management, Film and Commercial Production, and Corporate Events, Lisa brings a new creative force to the company.
FM Systems’ CEO Marlin Jones is excited about the new possibilities. “We are thrilled to have Tracey and Lisa join the FM Systems family! The two combined are a formidable presence in the event production industry and we look forward to the growth opportunities they bring. FM Systems and FourForty Backline provide service anywhere, and the addition of these two industry leaders will help us grow into places we’ve never been before.”
With the move into the Winnipeg market will come an expansion of FM Systems’ product offerings to be announced at a later date.
