The Sennheiser MD509 is a dynamic microphone with cardioid pick-up pattern particularly well suited to reproduce musical instruments generating transient rich sounds. Applications include percussion instruments, wind instruments and amplified instruments. The well defined directional characteristics suppress feedback tendencies and assure good acoustic isolation. The elastic suspension of the element makes this microphone rather insensitive to handling noises.
