GK bass cabinets are optimized to give you that "big cabinet sound" in a lighter, smaller package. It has quality components, such as special G-K designed 10" speakers, in solidly built enclosures, that are computer tuned using Thiele/Small parameters. To maximize strength GK uses solid-core, seven ply, birch veneer plywood, and solid hardwood glue blocks to brace the entire baffle and back. The speakers are then protected by a perforated steel grill that's been coated with a baked-on urethane finish.
